PMMA is the best polyme tanspaent mateial at pesent, and its visible light tansmittance is 92%, which is [1] highe than that of glass.1. ultaviolet light: quatz can be completely ultaviolet light, but the pice is high, odinay glass can only pass though 0.6% ultaviolet ay, but PMMA can pass though 73%. PMMA can't filte out ultaviolet (UV). Ultaviolet light penetates PMMA, and pat of the manufactue [2] is coated on the suface of the PMMA to incease the effect and popeties of the UV light. On the othe hand, PMMA has bette stability than polycabonate in the condition of ultaviolet light iadiation.2. infaed: PMMA allows infaed ays less than 2800nm wavelengths to pass though. Longe wavelengths of IR, less than 25000nm, ae basically blocked. Thee is a special coloed PMMA that allows a specific wavelength of IR to pass though and block visible light, (used fo emote contol o heat, etc.).The POM enhanced POMThe main einfocement mateials ae glass fibe, glass ball o cabon fibe, and glass fibe is most commonly used.
